Text Box: Dear Friends, I hope you’re enjoying my new website.  It’s simpler and I’m able to update it myself with new paintings and events. I love technology when it works! The show at ARTichokes Gallery in Kansas City was a wonderful experience. As many of you know, I grew up in Kansas City so the gallery show gave me a chance to visit my family, see old friends and meet a new group of art lovers. When we returned,  I delivered several new paintings to The Artisan’s Collective here in Dallas.  I love to take work to them because it gives me an opportunity to see some fabulous art created by other Dallas artists. The Arte en el Café Show opened September 12th at Café Brazil in Plano, Texas.  It’s was an exciting show that also included Florence Keefe, a fellow painter and Sylvia Hougland, a sculptor. Over 100 people came to the opening to view the art, meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.  Painting and writing sales have been rewarding this year, which encourages me to continue my studies and spend every hour I can in the studio.  I feel really blessed because I get to spend my days doing the two things I enjoy most – painting and writing.  As always, I love to hear your comments so email me at the link below.
